YURIY HADZETSKYY

Born in Lviv (Ukraine) in 1992. Graduated from Lviv National Music Academy named after
Mykola Lysenko in 2016 (teachers: Stepan Pyatnychko, Petro Onchul). From 2011 to 2016 was
soloist of the Ancient Music Ensemble “A capella Leopolis”. Worked with baroque music masters
as Paul Esswood, Angelika Mots, Marek Toporowski, Tomash Slusarchyk, Peter Benovich, Nazar
Kozhuhar. Guest soloist of Lviv Philharmonic. In May 2015 made his operatic début at the
Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre as Don Giovanni in the
same-named opera of W.A.Mozart. In 2016/2017 season was soloist of Kiev National Academic
Operetta Theater. From 2017 season is a participant of Young Talents Training Programme “Opera
Academy” in The Grand Theatre – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, Poland. Works with Olga
Pasichnyk, Eytan Pessen, Matthias Rexroth, Izabela Kłosińska, Helmut Deutsch, Brenda Hurley,
Tobias Truniger, Hedwig Fassbender, Paul Plummer. From February to July 2018, he is a Fellow of
the Gaude Polonia Program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. Works
under the supervision of Olga Pasichnyk from 2017..
