Lviv Wind Quintet

Young talented musicians from Lviv, who in 2017 created a wind quintet, with the aim of popularizing classical chamber music and raising cultural awareness.

The quintet consists of five players:

•Flute-Hudzeliak Taras(student of Kiev National Music Academy,Laureate of ukrainian and international competitions,1-st flute in YsOU(Youth symphony Orchestra of Ukraine,conductor Oksana Lyniv)

•Oboe-Oros Oleg(student of Lviv National Music Academy,second oboe of symphony Orchestra ,,K&K Philarmoniker’’ conductor Mattias Kedlinger)

•Clarinet - Yunyk Rostyslav (student of Lviv National Music Academy, soloist of INSO Lviv orchestra and Philarmonic orchestra)

•Basson - Sapunkova Alina (student of Kyiv National Music Academy, laureate of ukrainian and international competitions, first basson of YsOU Ukraine, conductor Oksana Lyniv)

•Horn-Proniuk Oleksandr(student of Lviv National Music Academy, 1-st horn of International symphony Orchestra  ,,I,Culture’’conductor Kirill Karabits,and soloist of Lviv Philarmonic orchestra and  Lviv Virtuosos orchestra)

 

The quintet performs classical music of various genres and periods and works together with a piano ensemble, vocalists and vocal ensemble in the performance of other musical compositions.

 

This kind of project had not been organized earlier. The virtuoso performance, along with the charisma of young performers, will not leave anyone indifferent and will make the audience look at things in a new way.
